I'm looking at installing a used Toto in one of my rentals and I'm wondering if it's worth the effort. The tank is stamped ST703 inside and research shows me that that tank has been discontinued (as of 2007).

A search here seems to mention a CST703 as a low grade builders model Toto that has less than stellar reputation. Can anyone tell me if the ST703 is the same model? I can't find reference to it on the current MaP test. It's a round bowl.

Thanks,
John

The ST703 tank fits either the C703 round or C704 elongated bowl.
MaP was 550 grams and worked fairly well.
The down side was splash onto the seat, it's a washdown bowl, not a siphon jet like the Dalton or Drake.

I had one for a while, and it worked well, however when it was replaced with an Ultramax, it was all over for the Reliant CST704.
The Dalton and Drake are better.

I'm beginning to think I have one of these in another house only it's an elongated bowl. I'd say your assessment is right on.....works OK with some splash factor. For $30 delivered it'll work for a rental.
Thanks,
John
