Matching toilet to seat

I need to replace the toilet seat on one of my Briggs toilets. Do I need to buy a Briggs toilet seat, or just make sure it's the right size?

With a few execptions, toilet seats are either round or elongated and the bolt-down dimmensions are standard. The Biggs, I think, falls into those that are standard. Unless it is a really weird shape, any stock seat should fit. Now, different brands will have more or less overhang with the bowl, but it will fit. Color match may not be perfect, either, but usually close enough.
