Hey, first time in forum. doing bathroom remodel. coverting from copper to pex from well pump to bathroom. can't find any guidance/info/photos of how to mount and finish 1/2" pex to fixtures. adapting pex to sweat or threaded connection i've got but how to mount/secure and finish is a bit of a mystery?

Your PEX catalog will show all of the fittings.
You have to stick to their fittings.
They make some direct connect fittings if you are using a monobloc.

Or you can go with individual shutoffs at the fixtures.

It's nice to have the end where you want to install a valve nice and sturdy. They do make threaded el pex fittings, but a nice way around this is a copper stubout soldered to a special strap placed across the stud bay. Holds it nice and straight, and comes with the pex connection on the inside wall end. Some even have the end capped, so you can pressure test. Cut the end off to length when ready to put on a standard compression or solder stop. Lots of ways. Keep in mind that coming out of a shower valve to the tub or shower head usually won't work well with pex...use copper or cpvc - larger ID.
