Question about Toto Soiree and toilets in general

I just installed a new Toto Soiree and have a question. There doesnt seem to be any 'storage' in the bowl. By that I mean as soon as any liquid or solids go into the bowl, I can hear the displaced water running down the waste pipe. As far as I can remember, the old toilet never did that. its quite annoying.

is that normal and I just don't remember it from the last toilet. I don't think I've ever heard that from any other toilets.
Is there an adjustment that will stop that from happening?

All toilets do it, but you do hear it with the plastic adapter.

Obviously, when water is added, something has to go over the dam.

Ok, I now have a problem with the tank sweating big time on my Soiree. The floor in the bathroom is soaked! its a heat wave here in NH and we have no A/C in the cabin. this is the only toilet in the house and with house guests, it is getting a lot of use so the water in the tank is turning over quite often. To make matters worse we have well water that is quite cold...all recipes for a lot of sweat coming off the tank.
Does Toto make an insulating kit for the Soiree? is there any other way to reduce the amount of sweat? I'm concerned that over a long period of time this will lead to the floor rotting.

Have you turned off the water to the tank to see if the flapper is sealing.
If the flapper is leaking, that could be your problem.

Since the Soiree is using 1.28 gallons on the flush, the tank should only be partially emptying, leaving some water in the tank.

I checked and the flapper is fine. Yes it is only using about half the water in the tank each flush.
the only cause I can think of is that the well water is very cold.
My Soiree is marked 1.6 gpf
would a mixing valve be a good solution?

If it's that cold, then maybe the mixing valve is a good idea.
