Hi,
We are in the process of renovating our master bathroom. The bathroom is small and the shower is even smaller. The current shower size is 34 deep and 32 wide. We cannot find any good quality pop-in shower stalls for this size. We could use a Swanston Make-it-Yourself shower, but these are just as expensive as having the shower tiled, which would look better. Can anyone recommend an under-$1000 pop-in 34" by 32" shower stall which should include the pan?

Thanks,

Darrell T.

You're right, that is a small shower. Most kits tend to be square. Is there any way you could gain those 2" and make it square? You'd have more choices.

Building your own tiled shower isn't as intimidating as it used to be. Check out www.johnbridge.com for some (high volume) discussions by users and pros about tiling things. You may also want to consider looking at Kerdi from www.schluter.com and Wedi from www.wedi.de. Both of those tiling systems are pretty quick and robust...they are waterproof in themselves, the tile is for durability and style.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
