Mine comes barely above the counter. I'd put the one with the 3" or so of space.

I am remodeling a Kitchen at my friends house. We are about to order the new window.
I need an opinion. How far down can the new window come to the counter-top?
I have two stock window size options. One size comes to about 6 or 7 inches above the counter-top
The other size comes to 3 or 4 inches above the counter-top. There is a sink centered on this window.
Which will look better?? We have been leaning towards the 3" space.
We are tiling the back-splash with 3" subway tiles.
Please post all opinions

Whatever you like. I have had windows that came right down to the countertop and were used as "pass throughs" to the patio.
Thanks for the replies. We are going with the taller window.
I wish you could answer some of my Questions in the boiler forum.
