I am in the process of finishing off my basement. Today i purchased a kohler bathtub, for a discounted price. Its an acrylic tub, with a wall surround kit. I couldnt find any damage, so i brought it home. when i got it home, I discovered that one of the support pegs on the bottom had about an inch broken off of it, causing the tub to sit unleveled. I was thinking about setting the tub in a mortar bed to fix problem. would this be okay? Or should i return the tub. Thanks:)

I set all my acrylic tubs in a concrete bed for added security

(I know I'm going to get some opposition to my comment, yeah....... but who cares)
