I need to move my toilet a few inches to the side.

How do you guys feel about using 2-45's to do this?

My toilet is on a slab and I have already broken up some of the concrete and removed about a foot of dirt.

I was also toying with the idea of using one of the better offset flanges, however that will only allow me to move it about 2" and I need more llike 4"-5"

You can have up to 135 degrees of change.

To move it just a bit, I will often use 90 into a street 45.
That moves it about 4" with only 45 degrees of change.

Hi Terry:

So am I ok using the 2-45's?

And how do you use the 90 along with the 45, I am trying to picture this and the angle seems incorrect?

The flange I bought has a stainless ring and is a 45 and then I purchased another 45

Frank

A closet flange with a built in 45?

That would work too.
You can have a 90 and a 45 on the horizontal.
They don't count the vertical to horizontal bends.

I am not doing anything with the horizontal, I am just changing the vertical with the 2- 45's at the top of the vertical run.

I'll move forward and install the 2-45's and bring back the offset flange to the big box store.

Thanks
