DIY Handyman (not 4 hire)
I have enough to do to my own house
Scuba, are you saying that eating
kidney pie or haggas is nasty???
IAN
I have heard that the English make a real mean dip
with cow pancreas and spleen ,,,
Is that true, or is that the Scotts???
Roughly speaking, aboout 2/3rds of Americans are overweight, about 1/2 of British people are.
It's a myth that they have crappy food - 3 months since my last visit, still trying to find a burger nearly as tasty as the ones I had here.
Master Plumber Mark:
there is nothing better than the
manly smell of WD 40 in the air
while banging away on brass with a chisel and hammer...
it smells like......victory......
do not hit your thumb...

It's true. We are getting fatter too.
But your kids really are fat.
And certain ethnic groups in America seem to be disproportionately affected.
Whereas those same ethnic groups in Britain are not.
That points to less inequality between ethnic groups there versus here.
Poor people (plumbers) tend to eat less healthy than rich people (electricians).
Rich people (remodelers) live longer than poor people (home inspectors) too.
Getting the vote doesn't get you the bread. That was conveniently left out of your Constitution.
PS Unless you've tasted a scotch egg you don't know the meaning of heaven.

As much as it pains me to agree with Ian, lol, a scotch egg is indeed a touch of heaven, but then I also quite enjoy Haggis. Must be my scottish side of the family.
That looks good..
now what is in a scottish egg anyway...???
Egg for sure...
looks like a deep fried egg with ham or what around it???
A hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated with bread crumbs, and deep-fried.
Although we Scot's like anything deep fried.
Scotch eggs aren’t Scottish; the “name derives from the verb to scotch, meaning to ‘chop up’,” according to ‘The Compendium of Nosh’ by Jack McLean (John Murray 2006).
Fortnum & Mason in London invented the scotch egg in 1738 and continues to sell them (for £2.75 each) from their food hall, which has just reopened this week after huge refurbishment as part of its 300th anniversary celebrations.
I just bought all the "fixins" to make me a few...they look almost as good as chocolate covered bacon...
I would think that they both contribute equally well to spending some time in the cardiac icu...![]()
They are very tasty.
Best served chilled.
