My Drake of four years has started having intermittent leaking under the flapper. No sign of sediment. Is there a rule of thumb life span to the flappers?

i have sen them go out in as little at 2 years. it is rare though.
Do you use a chemical cleaner that goes in the tank? They will shorten the life span of flappers considerably. That's a subtle way of saying don't use chemicals in the tank.![]()
