I have a 29" high space(there is a narrow shelf extending from the vanity top over to the top of the toilet)and wanted to install a 28 1/2" Toto Drake. Will that be a problem as far as installing a 1 piece or a 2 piece toilet? In other words how much space do I need to lift the top off the tank? woudl a 1 piece be easier than a 2 piece?
Thank you--trying to get this project done this week.

You may be better off with the one-piece Ultramax if you only have 29"

The Drake is a little taller then 29"

The top of the Ultramax is 27.5" and with the lid off, it is 26" from the floor.

Thanks for the tip on the slightly lower height of the Ultramax--just bought 2 of them to be installed on Thursday.
