Pressure drops to 0

When the pressure guage reads 30, the water pressure drops to 0 for a few seconds. during this time, there is no water flow until pump starts. At that time, guage immediately goes gack to 30, and rises to 60. The pressure switch is located before the guage, tank, and outlet.

Then the switch is not seeing the decreased pressure in real time and it is lagging. The usual cause is a blocked switch nipple or any tubing going to the switch from the front end of a jet pump or the fittings that 1/4" tubing is attached to or the hole the fitting is screwed in to.

Or the switch is not adjusted correctly, so tighten the tall screw's nut one full turn and see if that cures it, if not repeat. Try that first.
