Hi all-

I understand that every bend in supply affects the (pressure? ) output at the shower head....

In our shower layout, we much prefer to have the thermostatic valve and two volume controls stacked in a column arrangement. It just looks a lot nicer in the space. But that will require more bends from valve to shower head and handshower. Specifically, in that arrangement 4 bends to main shower head and 5 to hand shower. if we arrange the valves differently, we reduce the number of elbows to 3 each, but it doesn't look as good.

Will we notice a difference?

Install the valves the way you like the looks and pipe them using whichever fittings it takes. You will not notice any difference, since there will not be any. And even if there were, what would you compare it with to find out how much?
