My Bob is going to celebrate his 22nd birthday in January and still going strong! He aint ever going to expire, no siree Bob.
We had a siamese/grey tabby born in Japan that lived to almost 28. He was a scrapper indoor/outdoor cat until he was about 25.

I think our (my) cat is about 11 years old - still a youngster
Wife wants a dog....would happily get rid of the cat
But I have never "disposed" of any pet, not even to a friend
I think a pet is part of the family, I even passed on Apts because they would not allow pets
I can't stand seeing ads on Craiglslist where people are getting rid of their pets
DIY Handyman (not 4 hire)
I have enough to do to my own house
A scene out of soylent green for animals...
