OK, I am planning on having a bar sink under the bar
Or as we say in Mass, a "bah sink" :D

It's an "L" shaped bar, 7' on the side that runs to the drain/vent area
The sink will be located mayb 1-2' from that corner
So a total run of maybe 9'
Drain is not a problem, it can drop as much as needed
But am I "stuck" with installing an AAV ?

Or is something like this OK?
The vent/plumbing would be much higher up as I won't be running down under the floor

The sink will be in the left corner behind the bar
There will be 12" cabinets/shelves along the left side of the L shape
There will be a 3" open area behind the cabinets/shelves

IMHO, Island venting would be the preferred method (though more complicated) rather than relying on a mechanical vent if they are allowed under your governing code.
