Hi,
I have a Grundfos CU301 SQE system. I have noticed in the last couple of weeks when any tap is turned on the water pressure will drop well below the set pressure. After a few moments the pressure will suddenly jolt back up to the pressure set on the gauge. Not sure if this is a problem with the pressure gauge or with the electronic system itself. Any ideas at all?

The pressure does drop initially when a tap is turned on, then comes back to normal pressure after several moments. The pressure is set for 52 psi and the gauge falls to about 35 psi before ramping back up. What worries me is that when the pressure comes back up it is sudden with a banging in the source pipe.

So then it ain't the gauge, it's the electronics in the pump. Do you have the installation manual?
