I have a couple more questions regarding venting code on a gas dryer.

1. Is there a clearance requirement for the 4" aluminum vent pipe as it goes through the exterior wall? Can it be in contact with wood?

2. Can you put expanding foam in contact with the gas dryer vent pipe?
