We are at the framing stage on our new house. The guest bathroom is 5 feet wide, and I'd like to maximize space in front of the toilet. We have an in-slab 10 inch rough-in. I'm thinking we might want to convert this to a wall hung toilet, if we could do it without too extravagant a cost. The wall is 2x6. Thoughts?

I would expect the change to the rough-in to be about $1500 to $2000
A Wall hung toilet with bracket will run about $750 to $1200
Installing the wall hung toilet will run about $250 to $400

You can buy the best 10" rough toilet for about $500
Much better then the wall hung will be.

Or an adequate 10" toilet for $250 to $300

Thanks much for thorough, helpful response

I appreciate you and your contributors for all the (somewhat overwhelming, I must confess) guidance and information on this site. I will follow up in a separate thread to avoid mixing subjects.

Thank you.
