What is the cost of a newly installed power vented, two zone gas boiler? Using circulators? Cost to have a licensed plumber install?

What is the cost of a 4 zone natural draft gas boiler using circs and a 60 gallon storage tank.


Both boilers are 85-86% effic. Both are gas, one is power vented. Cost of all materials as well.

Well, let's see, NYC is in the northeast as is Potsdam...a really big difference in the local labor. You aren't going to get an answer. Plus, without seing what's there and what's needed (replacement/new; location of utilities, where the flue and or ducts need to be run, etc.), there's no reliable way to quote it from afar. The hardware likely would cost the same, but the labor rates could be off by 3-4x or more, not counting license and inspection costs. A good portion of the cost is labor.

The only way to get a good comparison of LOCAL costs is to get local estimates for the SAME systems; then you can compare. Check references and BBB.
