Greetings
I'm going to be installing a bar sink in my basement. My initial plan was to have a conventional sump tank and pump, which would require a vent pipe to be run up through a main-level wall, to the attic and out the roof. This is not a project that I'm much looking forward to. Then I happened across this pump from Flotec FPUS1860A that mounts right to the sink drain and eliminates the trap, tank and vent. Here's the link...
FPUS1860A
I don't expect that this pump would work as well as a conventional set up. But for a low-use bar sink, the extreme ease of installation (and replacement) is pretty attractive.
Wondering what the pros think of this gizmo.
Thanks
