Copper Naphthenate - How long before you paint?

I have a contractor dipping shutters in CN and I was wondering how long they should sit before they are painted?

It should say on the can...all the directions should be there....sorry..I didn't read the heading...

Yes, I just talked with my contractor and asked if he had read the back of the can. He hadn't! I always have to ask the simple questions first, especially when I don't have the product right there in front of me. But thanks anyway.
