Howdy, all.
I'm remodelling our upstairs bathroom. For reasons that I don't understand the toilet is placed opposite a chimney (from the hot water/boilers in the basement); thus, we only have 44" from the toilet-side wall to the facing wall. As you can tell, this is pretty short.
The drain is constructed out of a massive cast iron fitting that is shared with the shower and sink drains, so I can't move it. Instead, we're looking for a short toilet. What we have now is 26.5" back to front; most modern toilets seem to be 28" or so and that's too much of a squeeze. So, I'm hoping someone can point me in the direction of one that would work.
Requirements:
* Short as possible; round front is okay.
* 14" rough-in.
* Dual flush is a bonus.
* Not tremendously expensive is also a bonus.
I've been looking at Toto obviously, but again most of what I've seen is 28" back to front.
Thanks!
