Condensate pump

Much as I love my Zoeller condensate pump on my AC, it is a noisy little bugger.

Consequently I am thinking about getting a new one.

The Little Giant NXTGen VCMX-20UL sounds as though it might be quite good and quieter.

Any comments?

They have a good reputation down here. That's also the mfr. we spec for projects.

Thanks Mr Orange. Even though some of the worst plumbing I ever saw was in Key West , I decided to take your advice.

After installing the new pump I can confirm that this:



is better than this:



in every single way.

It's quieter, has a three-prong plug, thicker electrical cable and better designed everywhere.
