    Default Moen T4570 cartridge nut removal

    I want to replace cart# 1224 on my monticello widespread lav faucet.
    I got the tool but the nut isn't budging. The tool probabaly needs some
    holes to attach a lever. Is it okay to use wd40? Any ideas on how to get
    it to budge? Thanks.

    Default nut

    WD-40 might damage/melt the plastic nut. Just grab the tool with Channellock pliers and turn it.
