What is a good way to stub out to a washing machine?
Wash machine is in attached garage. I’ve run new PEX plumbing and so far have managed to avoid making any in wall (crimp) connections.
My PEX manifold is only 4’ from the washing machine so I do not mind running some copper from the washing machine outlet going inside the wall and then out again where I can crimp a PEX line close to the manifold.
I bought a washing machine oulet box but I’m concerned that installing that in the wall would compromise my garage firewall (made up of 2 layers of ½†wallboard).
I’m just a DIYer wondering what is normally done in a situation like this.
Any advice appreciated.
