Jim Mora of the Seahawks invited NFL commissioner Goodell to climb 14,411 foot Rainier with him.
I've seen a lot of people from the East show up in Washington State to try climbing Rainier.
What many don't expect, is the difficulty of breathing the thin air above 10,000 feet.
The staging point for the summit, Camp Muir is above that point. Sometimes just reaching Muir is enough for the body to just want to lay down and feel like vomiting.
Taking a few hours to adjust to the lack of oxygen helps to refocus.
Here was my climb of Rainier, that I did when I was 50.
