We are planning a basement bathroom and I know I want to use a Toto. We have a couple Ultramax's now but I love the look of the Aquia. Is there any significant differences between the two? Would one be better for a basement bathroom - new construction?

Thanks for any input.

If it were me i would put in a toilet with the G-max flush in a basement.
I have had problems with old 1.6gpf toilets in a basement not flushing properly because you don't have that gravity drop helping to push out the waste.
The design of the G-max gives you a strong push all at once like a waterfall.
I would not want to risk a dual flush in a basement either as the water level is even less.
