    Default Moen shower valve install

I’m getting ready to install a Moentrol 3570 rough-in valve for a shower-only installation. Moen’s instructions don’t say so, but don’t I need to plug the tub outlet connection on the bottom of the valve body?

Yes, you will want to cap that off.

    Default valve

You do not NEED to plug it, but it would be a good idea if you do not want to fill the wall with water.
