I am remodeling a bathroom, and would like to reuse the Symmons Temp-trol shower/bath valve, which is barely a year old.
So the deal is they used this large round plate to hide the large hole.
But now I am rebuilding the whole wall/tile so I could cut a small hole, is there a way to get a small cover plate? That would still work with the Symmons setup??
Thanks

The smaller hole will work with the large cover plate. Just be sure to notch out the wallboard/tile for the screw holes that the cover attaches to. Also make sure the center trim ring has clearance to screw onto the valve body. I made the mistake of trying to make the hole too tight, and I had to use my grinder on the finished tile to make room for the chrome trim that goes over the threads.
