I just replaced the rubber boot with spring. Now it drips for about 2 minutes immediately after use until it slows to a very slow drip (one very minute).
What should my next step be?

Thanks for any replies :)

Have more patience

A shower valve takes a couple minutes to empty the residual water from the shower riser, spout, etc.

Go back to it after 15 minutes and see if it still drips.

If your stems were the all plastic ones replace them with the ones with a stainless steel bottom. The plastic ones deform and then leak. Otherwise you have bad parts or installed them wrong.
