space issue

o.k., remodeled a 3 season porch. which abuts kitchen, going to make breakfast nook.problem the outlets on finished walls are 6'' up from floor. want to connect to my kitchen hotwater baseboard. do they make 6'' baseboard?

If the wire comes in from the top, it would be easy to move the outlets up. You might not even need to patch the wall when installing the baseboard heat. I think you'll have trouble finding one short enough to fit under the outlets especially since you need a space below for proper air circulation.

7 7/8" is NOT 6". The efficiency of baseboards is directly linked to the height so there would be little incentive for manufacturers to produce an item with limited demand, such as 6" tall baseboard, when it would be less effective than a taller one.

There is a European manufacturer (name elludes me but you could google the subject) that makes an extruded aluminum baseboard that is only 5" tall and still puts out 580 but/ft @ 180 degrees. Very pricy stuff though.

i found this slim line radiant heat baseboard, could i connect that to a existing hotwater baseboard system 5/3/4 '' tall, fits my space delema
