I have been using a goulds well pump for about 2 years and it just started turning on and off all the time is this a switch problem and if not what is the problem:

If it is turning on and off while you are not using water, then you have a leak or a bad check valve.

If it is turning on and off quickly while you are using water, the bladder in the tank is bad.

If it is turing on and off slowly while you are using water, then you are just using less water than the pump is supplying. Using more water or installing a Cycle Stop Valve will solve this problem.
