6 years ago I had a shallow well put in for irrigation. The person who did it was extremely knowledgable and did a great job. He actually drilled down to about 16' before hitting the bedrock and installed a point just above it. My static water level is at about 5-6' right now. I'm not really happy with the location of the pump, but that is where he could get his truck in to dig. I'd like to put in another pick-up in a different location to move the pump but wasn't sure where the best place to buy a new one would be. I've got a 3/4 HP Sta-Rite pump and draw 6 gpm max with my irrigation system. The current point is 1 1/4" diameter, but I'm not sure how long it is. Where would be the best place to purchase another well point? I don't want to waste any money on junk. Thanks!
