I have a question about flow direction vs ball orientation in a honeywell flow control valve. In the indicated flow direction on the valve body the synco motor has to close the valve against the water pressure. The valve is listed as normally open but unless it is installed against the arrow, the water pressure would not help to force the valve onto the seat. Shouldn't the water pressure be helping to close the valve, then the syncro motor taking the ball off the seat in order to open the water flow?
