This has been asked and answered numerous times...the search function works well. The new one works, they've stopped making the 1.6 version, but you may find one in stock still left.

Been reading many posts on this forum on how good the Toto Drake performs....we've decided to go with it.
After calling differents suppliers, I've requested the 744S but many do not have it. The suppliers catalog does not show them as being available, only the CST743S (round).
They've explained that the CST744S is no long made. And my only option would be the Eco Drake CST744E.
My question is..... Does one perform better than the other. 1.6 vs 1.28?
Would like to get some feedback...
Thanks...
Joe

The CST744S consists of
Bowl CST744E
Tank ST743S
The CST744E consists of
Bowl CST744E
Tank ST743E
They are both listed on the Toto Website
I stock both the 1.6 and the 1.28 in Anchorage, Seattle and Los Angeles.
Your dealer should be able to get them too.

Thanks for the replies...
Just wanted to get opinions on which performs better. But since the 1.6 elongated isn't made anymore, guess it doesn't matter.
Thanks again..
The 1.6 is made,
I sell them all the time.
They are also listed on the Toto Web site.
Of course the 1.6 works better using more water.
After all, they use the same bowl.
If you pour more water down, it flushes more.
Thanks for the input.
Was really curious to know if one out performs the other. Or if they flush about the same.
Thanks again....
