For the convenience of winterizing and child safety reasons I need to hook a 10g 3wire with a ground (4 wires) to a (grounding 2 pole on/off switch) and from there to a (240v 2-pole 3 wire grounding receptacle) so I can plug in an irrigation pump and turn it on and off with the switch.
Thanks Riley

Oh.

First off, ignore the white wire in the feed. You do not need it.
Grounding everything is assumed, including the switch.
The two hot wires of the feed to L1 & L2 (LINE) on the switch.
The two hots to the motor to T1 & T2 (LOAD) on the switch.

If the switch is not marked you'll have to figure out which two screws are line and which two are load.
