I have an early 1990's Crane toilet which has a leaky flush valve. I have replaced the rubber and foam gaskets on the flush valve, tried a variety of replacement flappers and replaced the flush valve. It still leaks into the bowl. The flapper either doesn't allign just right or does not seat firmly on the flush valve seat.

Is there a higher quality, perhaps softer, flapper to get a tight seal? Is there a recommended brand/model of flush valve and flapper to assure a good tight seal?

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
