Need to Drill Small Hole In Cast Iron Receiver to Install Door

I am installing Kinetik shower door in my new shower and I need to mount the guide onto the base. This means I need to drill two screw holes into the cast iron. Is this going to be a disaster? Will the drill chip and crack the porcelain? Is there an epoxy that will sufficiently bond to the porcelain?
