Mansfield with trap hole in front

I have a Mansfield toilet in my basement (on a concrete floor) that has the hole for the trap way on the front of the bowl instead of the rear like most toilets. It works fine, but I am assuming it's original to the house which was built in 1964.

I have changed few toilets myself and usually the exit of the trap way lines up with the mounting bolts. The way this is designed I just don't see how that can be. Does anyone know anything about these?

PS. The toilet has two sets of mounting holes. It is mounted using the rear most set which are 14" from the wall.

The bolts are the back will be centered with the floor drain.

The bolts at the front are "extra".
