I am not personally familiar with this motor, but I do know that most places have a minimum charge for just looking at something. It is possible to repair almost anything if money is no object, but you won't get much repair work done for $100. You might ask a local repair shop what the symptoms indicate the problem might be and if that is the problem, what the approximate cost to repair might be, but my money would be on a new unit.
