Hey Guys

With the proper slope of piping can a toilet or two be elevated to drain into the closet bend pipe where one toilet use to sit??? I hope that makes sense.

This is what my contractor is doing at my gym, I'm a strength coach so I have no idea if what he's doing is a good idea or if it can even be done.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Brad

Not sure I understand exactly what is going on, but it sounds like you are considering putting a toilet on a platform. That is not considered a professional installation, but it will function. If you have a licensed plumber doing the job, he will know to slope the pipe 1/4" per foot and to properly vent the system. If the person doing this is just a general contractor, he may or may not be qualified to do the plumbing. In a commercial venture, there are usually strict standards that the state enforces, so it would be advisable to consult with your local authorities as to the requirements. Might save a ton of expense later.
