Granite Composite Sink

I am looking at buying a pegasus brand granite composite sink, I would like to get a black one but am wondering if they are easy to install yourself or would it be better to hire someone and also how sturdy are they i.e do they show hard water stains, how hard are they to clean. I've also read that they may crack, under what circumstances would that happen. Thanks for any answers
