Thanks to all for the useful information on this forum. It is great.

I would like to add a hand held spray on a slider bar to my bath. It currently has this Grohe Rainshower arm and head as seen in the following link:

http://www.grohecatalog.com/product/28383/

How can I use a shower head diverter such as the Alsons mentioned on other threads, to attach both this shower head as well as a hand held? Will I need a different shower arm?

Thanks for your help!

There is no way to use a diverter with that arm and head and still make it look good, even if you could reach the diverter to operate it. You will need a different arm AND shower head to make it work.
