Scandia Shower/Spa help (Pics added)

I have a Scandia Evolution 100R. The on/off control has become very hard to turn. Took off the cover plate, retaining nut but can not get the valve out. It wiggles in the housing, won't turn either direction, has a small notch in the outer ring. Anyone know how to remove it?

Not without a picture. The valve is probably made by someone other than Sandia, but without more information we cannot give any advice. But if you are to the point where you can see the notch at the side it probably just pulls out, sometimes with extra effort.
