    Default Source for tempering tank

I searched and did not find this addressed. Where can I find a suitable tank for tempering before water heater? Most info I have read uses a gas water heater with the insulatin removed. But there must be a source for a tank for this purpose, right?

Tempering as in making the water warmer before the water reaches the water heater? So basically you are looking for a storage tank to be installed before the water heater if I am understanding what you mean.

Here is a link to uninsulated tanks http://www.parkerboiler.com/water-ta...rage_tanks.htm and one by Bradford White http://www.bradfordwhite.com/images/...heets/480B.pdf

You should be able to bick up a galvanized water tank pretty cheap somewhere.

    Default Thanks guys!

Yes, a tank that holds pressure but without insulation. I will check out your suggestions.
