Hi,

This trap is in a shower (no tub). So I won't be able to run a lot of hot water into it. In this thread I read morton salt and even some of the liquid drain cleaners. What's the best way?

Thanks for any replies

I was going to say hair dryer but I think hot boiling water is better. It is hotter. If it it is clogged with ice, then you won't be able to get too much hot water in there.

Salt sounds like a good idea.

I keep hearing, here, that drain cleaner is pretty caustic stuff that is not good for the skin or the environment. I am not so sure it works for ice clogs.
