I am running some shower control valve lines and using Pex for the first time.

My question concerns how to properly secure pex lines to a shower control valve. One option would be to secure the vertical pex lines to the framing members to a pex T with a horizontal pex line then running to the valve.

The other option would just secure the vertical pex partially to the framing member and then bend the line and attach it to the valve. Is one option better than the other? Does it matter?

Pex

The real question is how you secure the control valve. Once that is done, the PEX lines to it are not an issue as long as you strap them to the walls properly. IT will hold the lines in place.
