solenoid breaker trip

have a solenoid that keeps triping the breaker. the solenoid been change 2 times and the breaker has been changed. there is nothing else on the line, and line is good. Would the valve on the solenoid get jammed on these even on the new ones that been put in??

Where is this solenoid? What does it control? Your question is to broad based to even begin to form a opinion or answer. Please give more detailed information.

Solenoids do not usually cause problems, but whatever they are controlling CAN. What is the solenoid doing?

Is the breaker a GFI? Is it tripping because of a ground fault or overcurrent? Have you double checked it is wired properly? Is the breaker?

This breaker is not gfi, this is a 25watt 120 volt solenoid on a 1 amp breaker. the amp readings show only 0.2 amps, which is what it should be. I suspected maybe some debri getting in the water line, but they(plumbers) claim the line is pretty clean and the people use the water hose alot.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The "breaker" is not in your electrical panel then. It must be part of some equipment. Do you mind explaining what the application is?

It would surpise me if anything in the water would affect the electrical performance of the solenoid. It should draw the same current when completely jammed as when operating normally.

Have you inspected all the wiring to ensure you do not have a short somewhere due to worn wire insulation or something of that sort?

All a solenoid does is allow the valve to open. If it does not happen for any reason, it does not affect the solenoid in the slightest. A solenoid is an electromagnet, and it either functions or it doesn't, but if it trip a breaker it should do it every time. It cannot heal itself sporadically.
