Default PEX staple guns - any good?

They have a staple and a staple gun for hanging PEX tubing, at least in the 3/8" and 1/2" sizes.

Does it work well? I'm concerned that it might hold the tubing too tightly, not allowing it to expand and contract as it is supposed to.

I'm concerned with running it on joists, not on foam insulation.

You should be able to adjust the staple penetration to the surface it's being used on.
