I have a bathtub drain that needs replacing. It is 1 3/4" wide diameter and I cannot find a replacement ANYWHERE. Trust me - it's 1.75", whereby everything I seem to find in hardware stores is 1.25 or 1.5.

Does anyone have an idea where I can get a bathtub drain that is 1.75 " wide ?

A measurement of the diameter of the male threads on the flange....approx. 1 7/8 would be common, and in a plumbing store, the box is probably labeled as 1½ IPS. 1 7/8 is the approximate measurement of a trade size 1½ fitting.

drain

Most people come here because they can only find the one you are looking for and no one has the small one that you are finding. Many companies such as AB&A make the drain with the smaller thread and supply a bushing for the larger one.
